How does it work?
We will first get to know you and your team, exploring your current capabilities and desired outcomes to get a good understanding of your requirements. We will then review your needs and provide a completely bespoke course agenda.
We deliver our training as workshops, as this format allows us to engage with your team by providing practical exercises and work through your previous bids as a group. Your team will receive an action plan to ensure the new skills are fully embedded after the course.
Our training can be held remotely or in person, and handouts will be provided on the day. If you choose in-person training, you just need to provide a suitably sized room with AV equipment, desks/chairs, a flip-chart and lunch if required.
Feedback from you and your delegates is important to us, and we conduct post project reviews after all training we deliver to ensure your desired outcomes were achieved.
Who will do the work for me?
Your work will be carried out by one of our highly experienced trainers. We look at the sector you operate in and find the consultant who best matches you for each individual course. All our trainers have over 10 years of experience in public sector tendering roles across a variety of disciplines.
In-House training case study
An NHS Trust sought our assistance as part of their efforts to secure contracts for substance misuse services. We analysed three of their previous bids in order to identify key themes to focus on in terms of improving their bid writing. We hosted a day of training at their location to help the team develop the necessary skills to implement the proposed improvements.
Some feedback from delegates: “Excellent course, very thought provoking and extremely helpful for future work.”
What did they find useful? “All of it! Very personalised training and good specific examples. Also good debates and discussions on the topic.”
What was their impression of their trainer? “Engaging, responsive to our questions and very knowledgeable.”
