Notice Abstract

Invitation to Tender for a framework agreement concerning the supply and delivery of grass and specialist seed in the South and West Pennines. The seed to which this Tender relates comprises a mix of turf grasses, plus Deschampsia flexuosa, Calluna vulgaris and Erica tetralix. The seed will be used as part of peatland conservation works in the South and West Pennines. In previous years, the Authority has required between 10 and 20 tonnes of seed each year, of which approximately 2% comprised Deschampsia flexuosa and <1% Calluna and Erica, with the rest made up of turf grasses.
