External Decorations & Associated Repairs
A Suitable Contractor is required for the provision of a programme of external repairs and decoration/re-decoration of external surfaces and internal common parts for the Councils properties. The works are to be carried out as specified in the accompanying technical specifications.
The works may involve extensive preparations and general building repairs prior to re-decorating. The estimated proportion of the budget to be spent against each property for pre-decoration repairs and decorations works is:
- 25% Repairs and making good
- 75% Decorations/re-decorations
The type of repairs that is likely to be required as a pre-decorating requisite may include but not be limited to:
- Splining in to rotten timbers
- Fencing repairs
- Window and door repairs
- Replacement of flooring (all types including liquid applied)
- Internal plastering, etc.
