Notice Abstract

Animations The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery is seeking an animator or filmmaker to produce to produce four animated films for use in the upcoming Spitfire Gallery. Film will explore themes including the basics of flight, characteristics of the Spitfire, and the evolution of aircraft design through the work of Reginald Mitchell and Supermarine Aviation. Each film will be c.2 minutes long. There is subject specialist knowledge within the museum team but some capacity for research would be useful. Animations may include sound but should also be effective when played silently. Any narration or spoken word within films should be accompanied by subtitles. An initial meeting with the successful tenderer will take place in late February. The estimated deadline for completed is the end of February 2021.
