YTHFM - LLP - SGH STP - Integreted Design Team
York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management LLP (hereafter ‘YTHFM’) is delivering a capital project on behalf of York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The project is broadly divided between delivering a three storey new capital build forming new and replacement accommodation for the Emergency Department and Acute Medical Unit on the ground floor and a new and replacement Critical Care Floor on the first floor with plant floor above.
Additionally, significant investment to the site engineering infrastructure will be undertaken to enable this capital development and provide future capacity for the Hospital Site Development Plan
YTHFM is seeking to appoint an Integrated Design Team to support preparation of the HM Treasury, 5 case model Outline Business Case; which for the capital build element is RIBA 2013 stages 1 and 2. Following OBC approval, YTHFM will develop the Full Business Case, RIBA stages 3 and 4. The OBC and FBC will be prepared in sufficient detail to inform a Trust cost plan and working with Trust finance colleagues prepare the Value for Money, VfM, OB forms and NHS England finance templates. At this stage, the Trust has not confirmed which procurement route will be most advantageous for the appointment of a build contractor. This may include ProCure 22 or its successor P2020.
The scheme is registered as £40 million net of VAT over the next four years. The estimated capital works cost total is approximately £28M + VAT for both the capital build and engineering infrastructure elements.
