Notice Abstract

Westmeath Community Development is a local partnership company for Co. Westmeath. Our head office is in Mullingar, with offices in Athlone and our horticulture training centre in Belvedere. This contract is for the provision of IT services for the entire company. The contract will cover hardware/software support and maintenance. To ensure robust systems are in place to protect the company’s information technology system and to provide support to staff in relation to IT needs so as to ensure staff are able to carry out their duties in an efficient and effective manner and to also ensure minimal downtime is experienced in relation to IT issues that may arise. Services included in this contract will be on a pro-active basis. The contract will include support and maintenance of our three offices. Services to include: •Maintenance of hardware to include approximately 70 laptops, 3 servers, 6 network switches, routers, 3 firewalls and associated printers •Remote desktop support to all staff •Incident management and request fulfilment issues including, password reset, setting up and removing users, shared permissions, dealing with malware and ransomware threats, viruses issues, encryption services, monitoring of dark web •Mobile device set up for users- outlook and encryption •Provision and maintenance of remote access to server •Full server’s backup to be maintained offsite •Remote Monitoring on a proactive basis such as server availability, backup status, performance monitoring •Provision and management of anti-virus software •Data Breach management •Liaise with other third party software and service (e.g. broadband service) providers on behalf of the company as and when necessary •Regular review and reporting of hardware equipment / regular service performance report This contract is for a period of three years and invoiced on an annual basis. The successful applicant must furnish current tax clearance certificate and appropriate insurance. References required
