Notice Abstract

A contract for the provision of Public Health Services, as described in Documents 2a - g (Service Specification) (“the Contract”) is being tendered by West Sussex County Council (“the Council”) in accordance with the Light Touch Regime (LTR) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/102) (“the 2015 Regulations”). The aim of the procurement process is to establish an approved supplier list for Public Health Services in the County of West Sussex. As such, please note that bidders will not be competing with each other for a place on this contract. All bidders who pass the evaluation stage, as detailed in Parts 3 and 4 below will be offered a place on the approved supplier list. The procurement process will be undertaken using the OJEU Open Procedure and will be divided into the following six lots: Lot 1: NHS Health Check Services Lot 2: Smoking Cessation Services Lot 3: Alcohol Identification and Brief Advice Services Lot 4: Intrauterine Device Services Lot 5: Contraceptive Implant Services Lot 6: Emergency Hormonal Contraception Services

Total quantity or scope of tender

Estimated Value : The total approximate value of the services over the maximum five (5) year period is £6.5m. Individual contract spend is expected to range from £400 to £44,000 per annum (depending on activity completed by the organisation in question). However no guarantee or commitment as to the initial and future value of any work arising from the Contract can be given by the Council.

Qualifications :

Due to the nature of the services required. This invitation to tender is only available to organisations from the following professions: General Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists. Permitted professions for each lot are detailed below: Lot 1 - NHS Health Check Services: General Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Lot 2 - Smoking Cessation Services: General Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Lot 3 - Alcohol Identification and Brief Advice Services: Pharmacists Lot 4 - Intrauterine Device Services: General Practitioners Lot 5 - Contraceptive Implant Services: General Practitioners Lot 6 - Emergency Hormonal Contraception Services: Pharmacists
