Description of the goods or services required
As a police force we are obliged to log all our contact with media and journalists. This ensures we can manage our engagement with media with consistency and transparency. To meet our regulatory obligations, we therefore need a system to log all contact and act as a repository for key information, which can be interrogated as necessary. There is also a need for a press release distribution tool, preferably one that can link to the City of London Police website. The service needs to be accessible for multiple users.
The ability to extract management information each month is essential for the following areas: call volumes, subjects enquired about and press releases issues. Management information on other areas covered by the service would also be a benefit. A media monitoring element is not essential but would be beneficial.
The minimum security standards are laid out in the attached documentation. The service must be accessible from a range of devices (desktop, phones etc) and intuitive to use.
Currently there is a service in place. If a new supplier was to be chosen it is essential information stored in the current service can be extracted and stored in the new tool at commencement of any new contract.
The contract is to run for three years, starting in December 2019.
