Historic Environment Scotland (HES) requires consultancy services to develop a Conservation Management Plan for the gardens and landscape associated with Melrose Abbey. The purpose of the plan is to allow HES to have a better understanding of the significance of the Abbey's landscapes and gardens (cultural, historic and natural), identify potential threats and opportunities and put forward proposals for the appropriate management of the property.
