Aberdeen Heat and Power wishes to invite responses for a multi-lot framework to extend our district-heating network in Aberdeen City.
Interested parties may bid for 1 or more lots, for the supply of labour and/or the supply of materials in the development of district heating in Aberdeen into new and existing building including: district heating mains, building connections, installation, and civil engineer contracts as follows:
1) Carry out excavation and re-reinstatement works for district heating mains installation;
2) Install buried pre-insulated heating mains and pipe work and equipment, forming connections to buildings;
3) Supply heat network pipe and associated fittings;
4) To supply materials and equipment for new hot water central heating systems, utilising the heat network, to be installed into housing and other buildings;
5) Install Central Heating Systems, utilising the heat network, to housing and other buildings;
6) Supply and install electrical controls, panels and wiring.

For Lot 6: Supply of District Heating System Materials. Within the list of material in the schedules it is acknowledged there is some specialist or specific equipment (i.e heat interface units, commercial heat generators, heat meters, etc.) and therefore bids will be accepted from manufacturers and suppliers who are unable to supply all the material in the list.
