SB07/09 TQ - ‘Fuel Mix Analytics for IED Compliance and Metallurgy Protection at Edenderry Power Station’
Bord na Móna Edenderry Power station is a 128 MW (gross) baseload plant, it consumes just over 1 million tonnes (7.7PJ ) of fuel (biomass & peat) each year. The supply contract for the new Fuel mix / corrosion Management system will be integrated into our existing co-fuel (peat & biomass) monitoring and control SCADA systems. It will assist the power station in increasing the percentage of biomass we combust each year, while ensuring IED compliance and protection of our boiler components from corrosion. The proposed supply contract is for a complete supply and install price which will include (but not limited to) the following key components: • Required sensors to gather the information • Associated software to provide a platform for the data analytics, and decision making for the plant; • Monitoring & Prediction software for the metallurgy corrosion, and the IED compliance; 24/7 support for the system in operation.
