Community Rehabilitation Centre Accommodation (“CRCA”) Out of Hours Service
The Isle of Man Government invites expressions of interest from experienced providers to provide residential supervision services at the CRCA at Tromode House Braddan to the Department of Home Affairs
The CRCA (to be run by the Department) will provide a 24hr facility to house offenders assessed as posing a risk of harm or chance of reoffending.
The Department seeks to appoint a contractor to run the CRCA facility during the hours it is not staffed by the Department (evenings, weekends, bank and public holidays).
The CRCA will provide a regime of interventions for service users with an aim to reduce the factors linked to offending behaviour. The period of residence should be designed to move an offender towards resettlement so that they can take their place safely and independently in the community.
