Interventional Radiology Packs (Cardio Packs) are built very bespoke to the end user and normally include components which are brand or quality prohibitive to run mini competitions on. Cardiologists will be trained using certain components such as guidewires meaning switching components becomes increasingly difficult to change. The risk of fatality when dealing with the heart is extremely high if asked to use products which they are not familiar with.
