The Service relates to the whole of the Town Council’s area of authority and shall comprise the total area of land to be maintained which is approximately 28,6 hectares.Activities include grass mowing, strimming, edging, weeding, hoeing, pruning, mulching, hedge trimming, tree maintenance, scrub clearance, debris and litter removal, waste and dog bin emptying, weed spraying, hard surface sweeping and maintenance, stream and watercourse clearance and maintenance, inspection and maintenance of play equipment, providing specialist services, risk assessments on trees, maintenance on trees, a rapid response provision, reporting and the like.

Without prejudice to the remedies provided under Part 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 the Contracting Authority shall incorporate a minimum 10 day standstill period at the point that an award decision notice pursuant to Regulation 86 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 is communicated to tenderers.
