Provision of an Information System Solution for The Isle of Man Treasury, Customs and Excise Division The Isle of Man Government invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers for the provision of an Indirect Taxation System. Potential suppliers must be able to demonstrate a commitment to quality, value for money and a credible knowledge and understanding of the provision of Indirect Taxation Systems, Records Management Systems and web based services. The core functionality of such a solution should encompass the following key business areas relating to the administration of Indirect Taxation regimes and associated licensing schemes, e.g. VAT, Excise and Customs: • Processing and administration of registrations • Processing of declarations • Processing of payments, refunds, penalties, charges and assessments • Financial accounting • Administration of debt control In addition any solution should also address: • Document management • Workflow • Document output • Reporting / MI • Online self-service interface • Data migration • Compliance with General Data Protection Regulation • Compliance with the Electronic Transactions Act
