II.2.4) Description of the procurement

NWL CCGs are seeking to establish a contract to deliver the personalisation support function and support planning function along with the payment and audit function to support the delivery of Personal Health Budgets. The organisation must have a proven track record and demonstrate expertise in this field.

This contract will be subject to the enclosed terms and conditions, to be awarded for a maximum duration of 4 years, comprising a primary term of 2 years, with the option to extend for further periods providing that the total term of the agreement does not exceed 4 years.

It is expected that Bidders should be able to deliver all the standards set out in the suite of documents submitted as part of this tender.

The tender is being led by NHS Brent Clinical Commissioning Group and represents the following CCGs who are all party to the outcome of this tender:

As NWL Collaboration of CCGs is not a legal entity at this time, on award, a contract will be entered into on an individual basis with each CCG, however the commercial schedule will be shared, all KPI reporting will be done on a collaborative basis and the contract performance will be managed as one. These schedules will mirror in all contracts.

NHS London Procurement Partnership (hereafter referred to as NHSLPP) will lead and manage the procurement exercise on behalf of the NWL CCGs led by NHS Brent CCG.
