However, this has highlighted a need for support in job retention either following an individual successfully gaining employment or where their existing employment is breaking down due to their mental health.Job retention is a key early intervention and can help avoid crisis for the individual.This pilot targets support for employers, rather than individuals.The concept is for the successful supplier/s to develop a case load of employers (rather than individuals), offer a programme of support to the employers to improve their awareness of mental health and how they can best to support their employees in the workplace.
