Course Overview

This course will support public sector suppliers to develop a coherent approach to identifying and selecting tenders they are most likely to win. It will also help you to manage the tendering process to help you align your resources and writing winning bids with less stress.

Course Objectives

  • We will work during the course to apply the learning to your current situation so you finish up the day with either a bid strategy to implement or a roadmap of steps you need to take to develop your existing approach

Course Areas

  • Produce a business development pipeline which will help you to identify realistic opportunities and identify gaps, weaknesses and resources required
  • Identify necessary documents required to be tender ready
  • Identify your key competitors and use this knowledge to improve your approach by leveraging competitors weaknesses
  • Identify right opportunities, pre-engage and initiate a business development cycle
  • Identify the resources required to write a bid
  • Understand how to manage the tender process with multiple contributors
  • Plan for potential issues and mitigating their impact

Your Trainer will provide top tips and be available to help with any questions throughout the day. They will also ask what challenges you face when completing Selection Questionnaires and will provide their professional feedback and advice.
