Defence Network Resilience (INDUSTRY DAY)
The UK Ministry of Defence has a requirement to provide resilience of UK-wide networks and assure the delivery of operational information exchange requirements.
This procurement exercise is exempt from the Defence and Securities Public Contract Regulations 2011 (DSPCR) under Regulation 7 (1) (a) pursuant to Article 346 of the Treaty on the Functionality of the European Union (TFEU) and therefore no rights, duties, obligations or liabilities arising from DSCPR 2011 and/or EU Treaties will apply. By expressing an interest to participate in any potential future competition, you acknowledge that none of the obligations, rights and remedies deriving from the DSPCR and/ or EU treaties apply to this Contract. Contract Notice at any time for any reason; Decide not to Award a contract to any bidder following the PQQ and ITT phases. No costs will be reimbursed to those taking part in the procurement process. No contractual rights express or implied arise out of this notice or the subsequent procurement process.
An industry day is planned on the 30th October 2020 for those that meet the following security requirements:
- Provide up to two (2) attendees cleared to DV and sole UK (not dual) nationals
Those that are able to meet these requirements and attend the industry day will be provided with further details of the requirement. Please note that attendance at the industry day is a requirement for obtaining access to the PQQ. You must notify your intention of attending the industry day via email to William.Wood105@mod.gov.uk no later than 10:00 GMT 9th October 2020.
Contract Notice will be utilised by the Authority to collect Expressions of Interest from potential providers who wish to take part in the procurement process and gain access to the PQQ. The Authority requests that potential providers express their interest after attending the industry day via email to William.Wood105@mod.gov.uk Interested parties should respond no later than 10:00 GMT on the 9th November 2020.
Prospective suppliers will be required to hold List X status and required to hold a minimum of DV STRAP and be sole UK Nationals to have access to the Design Contract and ITT documentation. When expressing your interest please confirm that the company is both List X and has a connection to the RLI or is willing to achieve this by the Design Contract award and ITT issue date. Companies which fail to confirm this will not be invited to any future stage.
When expressing an interest, potential providers must provide an individual to act as the primary point of contact and identify any further personnel who they wish to have access to the PQQ. The following details must be provided.
- Lead Point of Contact.
- Any additional personnel who the potential provider wish to have access to the PQQ.
- Security Clearance level held (for each individual).
- Security Clearance details (to be provided by the Company security officer).
Following completion of the Expression of Interest period, the PQQ and further details regarding the requirement will be issued to potential providers.
The Authority reserves the right to refuse access to the PQQ where suitable clearances are not provided.
