Notice Abstract

Clothing made of coated or impregnated textile fabrics. The authority has a requirement to provide a surety of supply to the CBRN MK4a Individual Protective Equipment (IPE), a capability that is available for the whole force. Within the contract, the supplier will be expected to produce an annual batch of test suits to confirm they meet acceptable threat thresholds and quality standards. The Mk4a must be able to inter-operate with all other components, including Gloves (Airboss Moulded Gloves), Boots (Moulded Airboss CBRN Lightweight Overboot) and Respirator (General Service Respirator).
