The UTMC system will be able to formulate strategies by analysing live data such as vehicle position, passenger numbers and journey time information.This procurement relates to the common database: a cloud hosted system will support the common database, which will be central to the UTMC scheme. Swindon Borough Council (SBC) invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of a common database for an Urban Traffic Management and Control system (UTMC).

To participate, suppliers will need to register as a supplier with ProContract, http://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then register an interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. In the event of difficulties registering as a supplier, please refer to the System Administrator Proactis support team ProContractSuppliers@proactis.com

The contract will be initially for a period of 42 months commencing August 2020 with the option to extend for a further 24 months as per the contract terms and conditions.
