Notice Abstract

CWC20073 - Emergency Requirements (COVID-19) In light of the Covid-19 outbreak Wolverhampton City Council is placing this urgent request out to suppliers registered on Due North to support primarily our colleagues delivering Social Care activties to our City’s vulnerable people at this time. As you will know requests for these care provisions are at high demand given the current climate therefore we are attempting to liaise with suppliers within this marketplace in order to secure continuity of supply; the Council’s stock levels are changing on a daily basis therefore at this time we are unable to provide an accurate level of requirements. We are however particularly interested in obtaining details from suppliers that have the following provisions in stock ready for order: Disposable PPE - including but not exclusive to: • Aprons • Gloves • Long Sleeved Gowns Facemasks – including but not exclusive to: • FFP3 Mask • Fluid repellent surgical mask (type IIR) • Any other mask (standard compliant) covering both nose and mouth • Hand Gel / Sanitiser – with the known recommended compound to tackle the spread of the virus This list is by no means exhaustive however if you can supply any / all of these then the Council would like to hear from you. We’d also be keen to hear from you in terms of what other items you’ve also had significant interest in since the Covid-19 outbreak so that we can go back to colleagues to see if they are of any interest to them. Note (1): This 'Project' covers the acquisition of goods during the Covid-19 pandemic only; beyond this period the Council will be procuring goods for provisions via formal contract arrangements put in place by the authority. Note (2): All quotes during this period are to be supplied via the messaging function on Due North (only). The Council will evaluate them on the bais of their needs at any given time during the pandemic and will contact you directly should they wish to place an order.
