What about the Lower Value Contracts?
Our close relationship with public sector organisations allows us to supplement
the
OJEU tenders we publish with many
lower value tenders, sometimes referred to as 'below threshold tenders'
which are not published in the
OJEU. We publish a wide range of lower value tenders including Construction
Contracts,
Security Contracts,
Transport Contracts, Electrical Contracts etc.
Where do the Tenders come from?
Many of the tenders are sourced directly by us, either from the procurement websites
we provide for the public sector or from our in-house tender sourcing team. We also
include all of the tenders published in 'Tenders Electronic Daily'
(TED).
TED is a database of European tenders that forms part of the European Commission's
'Official Journal of the European Union' (OJEU) - formerly known as OJEC.
What types of Organisations Publish Tenders?
Most of our tenders come from
Central Government,
Local Councils,
NHS, MOD and also from the Education, Transport and Emergency Services
sectors. In addition to
public sector tenders, utility organisations involved in Power Generation,
Water, Oil and Gas also publish OJEU tenders.
Which Geographic Areas do the Tenders come from?
In addition to tenders being published from within the UK and Ireland, European
tenders are published from member states of the European Union. Not only can we
provide you with tenders published from the countries of your choice, but we can
also filter the
OJEU tenders and lower value tenders by individual geographical regions
within the United Kingdom.
